Above Us

Above us, are the stars that we reach for,

beyond us, untouchable; beneath us,

lie all that we are, rooted, grounding us;

yet we continue to stare toward the heavens,

and, dreaming, thus begin our journey, growing

into ourselves, becoming, more fully, us.
