I enjoyed reading your list. I wasn't know no. #58 at all and have had two references to it just today! Got to get that one. I really enjoyed "10th of December" - George Saunders. I read #40, "When We Were the Kennedys" when it was first published and enjoyed it greatly as I was familiar with the Rumford area. (How's your eyes after surgery?)
ReplyDeleteHow do you chose what you read?
ReplyDeleteUsually scour books list like the NY Times book list or a couple of weekly lists I subscribe to. If it sounds "interesting," I'll read it (mostly on my Nook). I went through a period of reading a lot of Maine authors, so still gravitate towards them. Mostly, if you've noticed, I read contemporary authors - have several on my FB page.
